Fronius IG Plus V inverters have a rugged, stylish metal housing. The housing is UV-resistant and has corrosion protection. They are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Fronius inverters 5 kW and larger have multiple power stages that turn on and off under partial load (i.e. cloudy days). Fronius IG Plus V inverters produce more kilowatt-hours at dawn and dusk than comparable inverters because only as many power stages work as required to efficiently process output from the solar array.
