24 Hour Emergency Service

The Hayter Group offers 24 hour emergency HVAC service.

Regular office hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.

Before calling for emergency service please check the list below. It may avoid a service call altogether or it may help us diagnose your problem quicker.

Geothermal – No Heat

1. Make sure you have new batteries in your thermostat.
2. Raise the thermostat to its’ upper limit.
3. Check that your air filter is clean.
4. Reset the breaker at the electrical panel.
5. If problem persists, call us at (877) 429-8377

Oil Furnace – No Heat

1. Make sure you have new batteries in your thermostat.
2. Raise the thermostat to its’ upper limit.
3. Verify that the furnace switch is on.
4. Check the breaker/fuse at the electrical panel.
5. Make sure you have fuel.
6. Press the reset on the burner – only once.
7. If problem persists, call us at (877) 429-8377

Gas or Propane Furnace – No Heat

1. Make sure you have new batteries in your thermostat.
2. Raise the thermostat to its’ upper limit.
3. Verify that the furnace switch is on.
4. Check the breaker/fuse at the electrical panel.
5. Make sure you have fuel. (propane furnace)
6. If problem persists, call us at (877) 429-8377

Air Conditioner Not Working

1. Make sure you have new batteries in your thermostat.
2. Lower the thermostat to its’ lowest setting.
3. Check that your air filter is clean.
4. Check the breaker/fuse at the disconnect by the unit.
5. Check the breaker/fuse at the electrical panel.
6. If problem persists, call us at (877) 429-8377
