The Broadway Solar Park in Alvinston, Ontario was completed by The Hayter Group in 2010. The project is 50 kW, which is 5 times the size of a typical residential roof-top installation.
The solar panels are mounted south-facing at a fixed angle on concrete footings. The system is completely maintenance free. Even in the winter time, the snow just slides off the panels.
