Green Ontario Fund The Green Ontario Fund is a not-for-profit provincial agency that invests proceeds from Ontario’s carbon market into programs to help people reduce their carbon footprint.

Program Details:

Install or replace an air-source heat pump in your home to be eligible.

For Homes with Existing Ductwork

  • $3,250 rebate for an ENERGY STAR® Ducted Air Source Heat Pump
  • $5,500 rebate for an ENERGY STAR® Cold Climate* Ducted Air-Source Heat Pump

For Homes without Existing Ductwork

  • $1,900 for an ENERGY STAR® Ductless Air-Source Heat Pump
  • $2,500 for an ENERGY STAR® Ductless Multiport Air-Source Heat Pump with 2 interior units, plus $250 for each additional interior unit, up to a maximum of $4,250
  • $2,500 for an ENERGY STAR® Cold Climate* Ductless Air-Source Heat Pump
  • $3,000 for an ENERGY STAR® Cold Climate* Ductless Multiport exterior unit with 2 interior units, plus $400 for each additional interior unit, up to a maximum of $5,800

*Cold Climate Heat Pumps can operate in temperatures as low as -25°C
